Strategic approach: Samsung is the market leader in smartphones in Romania owning more than half of the entire market share. Smartphone’s gaming capabilities are starting to become a major purchase driver, especially for the younger audience.
Promoting Samsung Smartphones as “great for mobile gaming” is not only a driver for sales now, but also highly important for Samsung’s future considering the adoption of WEB 3.0.
Mobile gaming’s popularity depends on the gaming community’s blessing
Owning the “brand for gaming” status is not an easy feat for a mainstream brand like Samsung. Gamers’ moms too owned Samsung's and their kid siblings as well. We needed to convince the gaming community of Romania that we take gaming as seriously as they do.
Our objective was to create a platform that allows for consistency in delivering our message but at the same time engages the esports community repeatedly and with a high engagement rate, during the course of the entire year.
